There are two basic approaches to using accessaphone™ with your hard phone or soft phone. The Instant
Flexibility feature enables you to use any method or routine that is comfortable for you, and you are
not required to change any settings or options at any time.
First, you may use accessaphone™ in conjunction WITH THE TELEPHONE. As you are using
your telephone, accessaphone™ will fade into the background but it is always ready to be used when you
need it.
Example: You decide to place a call, so you pick up the handset and place it close to
your ear for talking and listening purposes. You can then dial the number by using the telephone keypad
or you may place the call through accessaphone™ by using the keyboard.
When the call connects, you may talk and listen via the telephone handset or speakerphone as desired,
but you still have the option of using accessaphone™ keystrokes at any time during the call, without a
delay. Simply bring accessaphone™ into focus in Windows and then you can use accessaphone™ commands,
such as:
- Alt + H to place the caller on Hold
- Alt + T to transfer the call
- Space Bar to answer an incoming call. accessaphone™ will automatically place the first
call on hold and answer the second call when the space bar is tapped.
- Send digital replies (numbers) to an automated system or to enter your password
- Perform all other basic and advanced functions supported by accessaphone™. You can download or
view a complete list of keyboard commands in our Quick Reference Guide
accessaphone™ is ready to be used when you need it!
accessaphone™ can also be used WITHOUT THE TELEPHONE. With this option, all that you
will need is accessaphone™ and either the speaker from your telephone or a headset or microphone headset.
Example: You decide to place a call using your microphone headset, so that you don't
need the telephone handset for either listening or speaking purposes. The entire call can be placed,
managed and ended without ever removing your fingers from the keyboard, thanks to accessaphone™!
