Announcing National Disability Awareness Month!
|
|
President Bush has proclaimed October to be National Disability Employment Awareness Month, in recognition of “the contributions of Americans with disabilities and to encourage all citizens to ensure equal opportunity in the workforce!” This proclamation is one of several steps taken by the U.S. government to “ensure that opportunities are accessible to everyone who is willing and able to work.” Tenacity strongly believes in this mission and supports our government in recognizing the value of Americans with disabilities and the importance of providing everyone with a level playing-field when it comes to employment. In fact, accessaphoneTM was designed with precisely this issue in mind, and serves as a first step towards equipping people with disabilities with the tools necessary to find employment, and increase productivity in the 21st century office. We encourage everyone to find out more about National Disability Employment Awareness Month and to check out www.disabilityinfo.gov to learn more about employing people with disabilities.
